ive Missing Teenagers 五个失踪的少年

By NING Hangyi

● Five families from diverse social backgrounds × One trending campus game × A kidnapping case.

After school, five 8th-grade students from Nanlin Middle School vanished collectively, including one student’s mother, Leng Chunlai. That night, the local police captain received a report and based on the available clues, classified the case as kidnapping, with Leng Chunlai, the missing single mother, as a prime suspect. However, her actions appeared conspicuously audacious, and her motivations remained enigmatic. After all, what mother would abduct her own child? Subsequently, four families received consecutive ransom messages: “If you want your children back, deliver 2 million!”
Accumulating an 8 million ransom wouldn’t pose much of a challenge. Surprisingly, though, all the ransom inexplicably vanished during the exchange. Among the five teenagers, only the wealthiest and most influential child returned home, yet he had become reclusive and fearful, refusing to utter a word about their disappearance.
This book focuses on issues related to the original family, the physical and mental well-being of teenagers, parent-child relationships, and educational anxiety. It bluntly points out the adverse effects of most parents’ pursuit of vanity, namely children’s feelings of inferiority and inadequacy. You can never imagine to what extent parents who pursue perfection will push their children! The plot twists and turns unexpectedly, creating a series of surprising revelations. Currently, this story has been adapted into a television series by a well-known production company in China.
