《曾经联想》陈丹青
Ever Worked With Lenovo by Danqing CHEN

Introduction:
Danqing CHEN documents the career ups, downs and life choices of 11 individuals who were once associated with Lenovo with great empathy and sharp insights. These first-generation local ‘big technology company people’ strive to find personal value in their careers, repeatedly searching for the meaning of life amidst the highs and lows, and stabilizing their pace in the rapidly turning wheels of society. This is a precious personal history, a microcosm of Lenovo’s culture, a vivid reflection of the golden era of China’s internet, and a lively epitome of society’s vigorous progress forward.
The author attempts to recount, with care and restraint, through micro-history and oral history, the vague or completely overlooked stories and scenes within dramatized historical narratives, as well as the whereabouts and fates of the vast majority of people in a generation… Perhaps ‘history’ is no more than a collection of‘his story’.
