About the Author:
Cheng JIANG is a professor and doctoral advisor at China Pharmaceutical University. He is a leading academic figure in the Qinglan Project of Jiangsu Province and a young member of the Youth Committee of the Medical Education Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He is also a director of the Jiangsu Higher Education Medical Education Research Association, a member of the Jiangsu Drug Research and Development Association, and an expert in on-site verification of drug registration in Jiangsu Province. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan Cancer Research Center in the United States. He obtained his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from China Pharmaceutical University in 2007 and has been teaching there since then, focusing on courses in pharmacy and related fields such as Medicinal Chemistry. His main research interests include the design and synthesis of innovative drug molecules. He has presided over three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, published over 50 high-level papers, and has been granted 5 patents. He is the chief editor of the textbooks Comprehensive Experiments and Guidance in Pharmacy and Foundation and Practice of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Pharmacy Students. He also serves as a member of the editorial board for the multimedia volume on Medicinal Chemistry in the National Key Publishing Project Encyclopedia of Chinese Medicine, as well as the deputy chief editor of the new form textbook Medicinal Chemistry and an editorial board member for the textbook Drug Design published by the Higher Education Press, and an editorial board member for the 9th edition of Medicinal Chemistry published by People’s Medical Publishing House.
