About the Author:
Liu Yongmou is a Wu Yuzhang Chair Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China. A visiting scholar at Harvard, Colorado School of Mines, Utrecht, the University of the Basque Country, and Sorbonne, his research centers on the philosophy of technology, tech ethics, and societal impacts of AI. He has published over 20 books and 200 academic papers, including A General Theory of Techno-Governance, The Metaverse Trap, and Reconsideration of Science and Technology.
